Volunteer Information

The library accepts teen volunteers all year long, all you have to do is fill out an application!
What does a teen volunteer do?
-
Teen volunteers do many different things depending on how much time they can devote to our library and how much time they need for their volunteer hours.
-
Some types of volunteer activities you may do are: help with preparing for programs or crafts, organize materials on the shelves, pull materials for librarians, clean toys and book covers, and more.
-
Volunteer hours may be used as community service hours for your school, boy/girl scout group, church, and more.
-
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out an application and turn in to the library.
-
If you have any questions please e-mail or call Leah Smith.
The link will take you to a Google Form. If interested, please fill out and submit electronically.
Once the form is submitted, please contact Leah Smith, 203-758-3001 or assistant.director@prospectlibrary.com.
