About the event
Vincent de Luise M. D. Is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine, and on the adjunct faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College, where he serves on the Humanities and Medicine Committee and the Music and Medicine Initiative. Dr de Luise is Cultural Amabassador of the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra and president of the Connecticut Summer Opera Foundation. As a clarinetist, Dr. de Luise organized the Connecticut Mozart Festival and co-founded the annual classical music recital at the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is active as a chamber music recitalist, and lectures frequently on music and the arts.
